Founded in 1881, the Knickerbocker Greys is a leadership-developing corps helping boys and girls ages 6 to 16 achieve their fullest potential. Cadets learn how to motivate others, deal with subordinates, and command a group of peers. By learning the basics of military drill and ceremony and then teaching them to others, a Cadet gains leadership ability, self-discipline, and pride in his or her accomplishments. If you are interested in joining, come visit us during one of our weekly drills. The Corps meets every Tuesday from 4:45 to 6:00 pm at the Park Avenue Armory, located at 643 Park Avenue and 66th St. For information, please call (212) 585-1881 or write to us at KnickerbockerGreys@gmail.com.
