Commandant    Lieutenant Colonel David Menegon  

For ten years LTC David Menegon has served as a Civil Affairs officer.  In this role, he has helped military commanders by working with the civil authorities and populations within the commander’s area of operations in order  to lessen the impact of military operations during peace, contingency operations and war.  LTC Menegon has managed 50,000 Cuban and Haitian refugees at Guantanamo Bay , Served in NATO peacekeeping operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo.  

 LTC Menegon recently returned from completing two combat tours in Iraq as a Civil Affairs Officer under the command of Special Operations where he received two bronze stars.  

Since returning from Iraq LTC Menegon is sharing his experiences at the NATO School in Europe . LTC Menegon is also the primary Operation Officer on a strategic Civil Affairs Planning Team supporting EUCOM responsible for non-combatant evacuation operations (NEO).

His day job?  LTC David Menegon is a marketing executive with Xerox corporation, where he manages, trains and motivates a sales force responsible for fostering business partnerships with Fortune 500 world banking and financial institutions. He was recognized in 1994 as the #2 marketing executive in the eastern region, and ninth in the country. He is also co-founder and Vice President of a company that provides customized security solutions for the private homeowner and large corporations in the Massachusetts area.
